After the resumption of direct flights, Egypt has become one of the most popular holiday destinations for Russians.

And because tourists often have the passion to narrate their experience, the tourists’ notes about Egypt may be an important guide that every person thinking about taking the trip is keen to see, before making the visit.

What are the most important observations of Russian tourists that they share on the Internet in order to give their advice about their experience in visiting Egypt?
– The most important or most prevalent tourist observations about Egypt at the present time.

towels
There is a fine for losing towels in most hotels. The amount varies everywhere, but on average – from 10 to 30 dollars. Tourists often take a towel from their room to the beach or to the pool, and when they get out of the water, they don’t find it.
Sometimes hotel staff walk around the area and collect towels that are “no owner”, and then demand money from guests for their lost. Or the towels suddenly become smaller after cleaning. Therefore, it is better to take your belongings with you on a trip.

Bazaars
The Egyptians in the bazaars informally attract tourists to their stores and raise prices as high as possible, so most goods do not have price tags. It is better to go to such places with a company and be more careful, calculating everything at the current rate.

Taxi
As in many other countries, in Egypt, tourists are tricked into taxis. Drivers rarely drive on the meter and often triple the fare. Many travelers do not know how to officially order a taxi, so they take a car right on the road.
To avoid cheating, it is better to use the international taxi services through the app or look at the distance in advance to get an idea of the approximate price. Also, taxi drivers may not give the rest, so prepare the exact amount.

attractions
Tourists are often offered excursions in hotels, but, as a rule, they are much more expensive than they actually are.
Another type of cheating is camel riding. Also, tourists can illegally charge money for having their photos taken against a landmark, so it is important to check if this is an official ban.
