Amy Schumer receives ‘death threats’ after Oscars

Comedian Amy Schumer, who hosted the 2022 Academy Awards, said she received death threats after she joked about actress Kirsten Dunst and her husband Jesse Plemons.

According to her, at the party, she approached Dunst and joked that she had become the “stuffing” of the chair next to her husband, Jesse Plemons. Dunst was nominated for Best Supporting Actress and Plemons was nominated for Best Actor for Dog Power.

Schumer also said that she called the actors in advance and warned them about all the jokes she planned to tell at the film awards.

The artist said: “I have been burned many times and did not want the camera to depict a sad person.”

I was surprised that the agreed joke with Dunst caused a lot of indignation among fans of the actress.

According to Schumer, the Los Angeles Police Department called her to find the person who threatened her.

The comedian joked that the caller had the wrong number because he mistook her for actor Will Smith.
