Britain suggests dissolving NATO and other military alliances

Former Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn has called for the dissolution of all military alliances, including NATO.

Corbyn noted that these blocs do nothing to encourage dialogue between countries and only create tension in the world, including the situation in Ukraine.

He also questioned how best to build peace in the future – by increasing the number of such alliances, by building military strength, or by ending conflicts.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that NATO members are doing everything possible to delay the “active phase” of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, despite statements that hostilities there should end as soon as possible.
