Russia calls for a UN Security Council meeting on biological laboratories in Ukraine

Russia requested a meeting of the UN Security Council on May 13 on the topic of the military biological programs of US laboratories in Ukraine.

We have called for an open meeting of the United Nations Security Council to provide new evidence of military biological programs conducted in US biological laboratories in Ukraine,” said Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations.

The meeting is scheduled for 10:00 New York time tomorrow, May 13

The day before, Igor Kirillov, head of the radiological, chemical and biological protection forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, said that the United States and Ukraine used Mariupol as a regional center for the collection of the causative agent of cholera, tularemia and anthrax.

According to his statements, the selected strains of the virus were sent to Kyiv, and then to the United States, according to the transfer procedures. These activities have been implemented, since 2014.

Kirillov also announced the discovery of the process of destroying a group of pathogenic microorganisms in one of the laboratories, confirming that work was carried out there with pathogens of cholera, tularemia and anthrax.
