China builds a new hypersonic missile
China is building a new hypersonic missile that searches for heat and can hit a moving vehicle.
The speed of the missile at the same time will be five times the speed of sound, according to the US International Business Times website.
It should be noted that the developers of the new hypersonic missile were given until 2025 “to find solutions to the unsolvable problems of hypersonic technologies.”
According to the International Buisness Times, hitting a moving target would be a major feat, “because it is widely believed that the limited maneuverability of hypersonic weapons at such high speed makes this impossible.”
Earlier in an article published in the Chinese scientific journal Infrared and Laser Engineering, it was said that thermal missile technology would help the Chinese military destroy important targets from long distances “at an unprecedented speed”.
