Council of Europe commissioner asks UK not to extradite Assange to US

Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatovic has urged Britain’s Home Secretary Priti Patel not to extradite WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to the United States.

Mijatovic believes that the prospect of Assange’s extradition will have major implications for human rights and media freedom.
