Urgent| Conditions for registration in the initiative to settle the conscription status of Egyptians abroad at the beginning of May

In response to the requests of Egyptians abroad, and in the interest of the Egyptian state to provide all facilities to the people of the country abroad, the Ministry of State for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad published an infographic highlighting the conditions for registration in the initiative to settle the conscription situation for Egyptians abroad, which begins as of 1 May 2024 for a period of two months.

The Ministry of State for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have received numerous requests from citizens abroad about the possibility of regularizing their conscription status.

< p>In the interest of the Egyptian state to provide all facilities to the people of the country abroad, and to achieve stability in their social situation, whether (work – study – treatment…), the initiative includes the following:

1- Registration is open on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website as of May 1, 2024 for a period of two months.

2- Requests for final settlement of conscription positions will be received at the initiative of the Egyptian state, provided that all requests will be received on the website for Egyptians abroad who have reached the age of conscription starting from the age of ( 18 years) from the date of registration on the website until the age of (30 years), as well as for those over the age of (30 years) to settle their conscription status according to the situation.

3- A certificate approved by our missions is considered valid. (Embassy/Consulate) with the young man’s presence abroad, and payment receipt in the approved bank accounts.

4- It is not permitted to renew passports for Egyptians abroad whose conscription status has not been settled.< /p>

5- The data required to be registered on the website, as well as the specifics and conditions of the initiative, are referred to the official website of the initiative at the address: ‏ The Ministry calls on all citizens residing abroad to quickly register on the Ministry’s website within the specified period to quickly end the conscription status once and for all through the initiative to settle the conscription status for Egyptians abroad.
