Tesla sells three-quarters of its bitcoins for $1 billion

Tesla, the world’s largest maker of electric cars, sold about 75% of the previously purchased bitcoin for $936 million between April and June. This was stated in the company’s quarterly report.

After Tesla published data on the sale of bitcoin, its price fell sharply from $23.7 thousand to $23,000.

It is known from the report that Tesla’s revenue for the first quarter fell from $18.76 billion to $16.93 billion in the second quarter.

In early February, Reuters reported that as of December 31, 2021, electric car maker Tesla owned $1.99 billion in bitcoin assets. It should be noted that the company of entrepreneur Elon Musk itself disclosed the market value of its crypto-assets.
