Mufti of the Republic: The Messenger celebrated Egypt in many places and preached that it was preserved by God
Dr. Shawqi Allam, Mufti of the Republic, Head of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Councils and Fatwa Bodies in the World, said that the Qur’an celebrated Egypt as if fate had spoken about Egypt from ancient times, and that this country is the foundation, even if it is afflicted with some disease, but this disease does not lead to death.
This came in a speech he delivered at the educational symposium held by New Mansoura University under the title: “The Qur’an in Ramadan: Understanding and Meditating.” And he worked.
He pointed out that Imam Al-Suyuti said that there are more than 35 places in which Egypt was mentioned explicitly and implicitly. The Holy Qur’anic text greatly celebrated it, adding that the Prophet, when he was He sits with his honorable companions and says: If God conquers Egypt for you, then take a heavy army from it, for they are the best soldiers on earth. And when Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq asked him: Why, O Messenger of God? He told him because they and their families are in bondage until the Day of Resurrection, just as the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, told the Egyptian soldier that he is not the subject of strife and that he is the best soldier on earth.
The Mufti of the Republic confirmed that man Al-Masry must be fully aware in light of the severe challenges surrounding us, and that we must scrutinize the news and information we read, and we must ask specialists. He directed questions to the young university students in attendance: “How many times have you checked the information you read on social media sites?” ? How many times have you received information that might destroy the country’s economy if it were spread while it was not true? How many times have you turned to economists for investigation and auditing? And also in the field of medicine?! The Mufti said: “The great challenge that faces you as a young man in the face of this intense flood of information that comes to you, is to be alert and aware. Even external challenges need you to be aware of them so that no one whispers to you something that is not the truth.”
He pointed out that the Holy Qur’an is a way of life that came for human happiness, and it is considered a comprehensive way of life that aims to guide humans towards happiness and success in this world and the hereafter. “Allam” added: The relationship between the Holy Qur’an and the month of Ramadan is close and solid. The Holy Qur’an was revealed in the month of Ramadan on the Night of Destiny, which is better than a thousand months, indicating that the prudent Muslim is the one who prepares for the Night of Destiny not only in the last ten days, but from the beginning of Ramadan. He should pay attention to reading the Qur’an in order to understand it, contemplate it, and act according to its provisions. The Mufti pointed out that the Holy Qur’an was revealed at night, as if the issue of the night was the focus of a Muslim’s obedience. When night came, the righteous rejoiced, as they stood before their Lord, the Almighty, for the night is the shelter of the righteous. He explained that fasting and the Qur’an will intercede for the Muslim on the Day of Resurrection. He will say: “O Lord, I prevented him from eating and drinking during the day, so intercede for me in it, and he will intercede for him in it.” And the Qur’an will say: I prevented him from sleeping at night, so intercede for me in it, and it will intercede for him in it. The Mufti of the Republic stated that the first thing that was revealed from the Qur’an was the saying of God Almighty: {Read in the name of your Lord who created}, and the reading includes two types of knowledge, the knowledge of the universes and the written knowledge, and when these verses were revealed to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, he trembled, and he quickly went to his wife, Mrs. Khadija, may God be pleased with her. He said: “There is an important indication in this situation, which is that the husband and wife are the place of reassurance and comfort and the solution of problems between them. Therefore, the first revelation that came down to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, went directly to his wife, Mrs. Khadija, may God be pleased with her, because she is the place of residence and affection, and she is In turn, she reassured him strongly and enumerated the good qualities in him to reassure his heart, and she said to him: By God, God will never disgrace you; You will reach the family, speak truthfully, bear all things, provide for what is lacking, honor the guest, and help with the calamities of time. He added that this is an indication of the importance of maintaining family ties, especially in Ramadan, by any means, so that those who boycott our family ties, let us be the first to establish peace and connection. He continued, “We need this prophetic touch, that the wife should actually be the true refuge for the husband, and that the husband be the true refuge for the wife, so they are indispensable to each other.” The Mufti of the Republic affirmed that the verse {Read in the name of your Lord who created} is a true call to knowledge in general in all its branches, and not just Sharia knowledge, but all sciences. It is not possible for a nation to prevail or civilize unless it has with it the weapon of knowledge, as it is the foundation, and therefore Sharia knowledge is equal to it. Worldly and applied matters in reward and reward. Every knowledge that leads to civilization, development, and benefiting humanity is useful knowledge. The Mufti directed his speech to the university students, saying: “Know that the knowledge that you are learning is within the scope of the noble Sharia and the divine command in all uses of science. God Almighty says: {Say, ‘Walk through the earth and see’), and this cannot be accomplished except by learning and contemplating the sciences.” different. The Mufti of the Republic pointed out that the early ancient scholars were masters of every art, so they combined religious and worldly sciences. He gave an example of one of the scholars of Morocco and Andalusia, Ibn Rushd, whose entire family was a scientific family. The grandfather, son, and grandson were scholars, and Ibn Rushd, the grandson, combined different sciences. Shariah and worldly matters. He has written books on jurisprudence, medicine and judiciary. The Mufti said: “Within the framework of our understanding of the Noble Sharia, we realize that all sciences that lead to self-elevation, building the relationship between man and his Lord, and achieving the interests of the country and the people are within the framework of the Noble Sharia.” The Mufti explained that all modern innovations and inventions are a double-edged sword, and ethics should be the ceiling that regulates our relationship with them, because if we lose the moral compass, we lose everything. Medical and scientific progress must be controlled within the framework of ethics, as it is a double-edged sword if it is not used properly. It is true that it does not lead to any benefit. He gave an example of social networking sites that may be used to meet people’s needs, but they may also lead to falsifying awareness. Most of the marital problems that come to us in the Fatwa House and divorce cases were the result of misuse of social networking sites, and we have monitored this from… Through the fatwas that come to us. The Mufti pointed out that social media networks have discouraged reading, saying: “We need to wake up again, especially among the youth, and we, as the sons of Egypt, have a great and immeasurable ability to excel and rise and achieve the path we are walking on. The Egyptian mind is brilliant, but it needs determination and mobilization.” Unfortunately, the Arab person does not read enough compared to other countries, even though the first verse revealed was “Read.” The Mufti concluded his lecture by praying to God Almighty for Egypt’s security, safety, peace, progress, and prosperity, which also requires consideration of reasons and diligence for this. He also directed prayers to God Almighty for the people of Palestine and Gaza, that God would grant them patience, tranquility, victory, and determination.
