Health: 795,000 citizens were examined through presidential initiatives to improve public health during Ramadan

The Ministry of Health and Population announced the provision of examination and treatment services to 795,000 citizens as part of a number of presidential initiatives to improve the public health of citizens, from the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan 2024, until yesterday, Wednesday, as part of the state’s keenness to improve the public health of citizens.

 

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the initiatives included initiatives (early detection and treatment of cancerous tumors, supporting women’s health, supporting maternal and fetal health, screening and treating chronic diseases).

 

"Abdul Ghaffar" continued, 201,457 citizens were examined within the presidential initiative for early detection and treatment of cancerous tumors. 177,645 citizens were examined within the presidential initiative to examine and treat chronic diseases, 22,347 women were examined, within the presidential initiative to support maternal and fetal health, and 344,140 women were examined within the periodic visits of the presidential initiative to support women’s health, in addition to examining 49,411 women (first visit). Abdul Ghaffar pointed out: New Valley Governorate achieved the highest percentage of achievement in examining and providing the necessary treatment to citizens, at 230.48% of its target, followed by Damietta Governorate, at 195.72% of its target, followed by Sharkia Governorate, at 133.73% of its target, followed by Damietta Governorate, at 131.35% of its target.

 

"Abdul Ghaffar" confirmed The Egyptian state’s interest must continue to provide all necessary health services to citizens through presidential initiatives to improve the public health of citizens during the holy month of Ramadan.
