An important statement from two members of the Journalists Syndicate Council
A large number of fellow journalists, members of the General Assembly, expressed their dissatisfaction with political figures – not related to the General Assembly of Journalists – hijacking the protest stops called for by some colleagues on the ladder of the union to support the Palestinian cause without coordination with the Council.

The two Council members reaffirmed their support for the Palestinian cause, rejected forced displacement, and called on the United Nations and the international community to prosecute Zionist war criminals and take the necessary measures.
