Health care raises the level of maximum readiness in 311 health facilities

Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, President of the General Authority for Health Care and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, held an expanded meeting with the leadership of the Authority, with the participation of the directors of the Authority’s branches via video conference, with the aim of following up on the medical insurance plan and preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki reviewed the axes of the medical insurance plan for the celebrations of Eid Al-Fitr in the period from (9 – 14) of this month of April, and the ongoing preparations to ensure the provision of the best services and health care to citizens in the governorates. The first phase of implementing the comprehensive health insurance system “Port Said, Luxor, Ismailia, South Sinai, Aswan, Suez.”

During the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki stressed the importance of raising the maximum degree of readiness and readiness of hospitals in the governorates included. Pointing out that health services will be provided in 311 health facilities affiliated with the Authority, as these facilities will provide their services throughout the Eid period in 6 governorates.

Al-Subki added that the availability of medical and preventive supplies, medicines, vaccinations, serums and blood types has been reviewed. And its derivatives in health facilities, and securing strategic stock, and the presence of medical teams has been intensified, especially in emergency departments and critical cases.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki stressed the readiness of the rapid medical deployment teams in the governorates, to provide support to any of the governorate’s hospitals. Or neighboring governorates when necessary, for medical insurance, emergency support, and rapid intervention in the event of emergency crises.

Al-Subki stressed the convening of the Authority’s central and subsidiary crisis management rooms, in order to ensure optimal implementation of the medical insurance plan and joint coordination with the management room. crises at the Ministry of Health and the Egyptian Ambulance Authority.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki added that the quality of the automated reporting system and integration with health departments and vital facilities under the umbrella of the unified national network for emergency and public safety services was emphasized, with the aim of ensuring rapid response in rescuing cases. emergencies and providing good medical insurance for Eid celebrations.

Al-Sabki confirmed the continuation of providing services for the “A Healthy Ramadan for All the Family” initiative, which aims to provide free home medical follow-up for people with chronic diseases, deliver chronic medications to patients at their homes, and provide Remote medical consultations throughout the days of Eid.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki stressed the importance of periodic follow-up and field visits to the Authority’s health facilities in the governorates, in addition to intensifying the presence of beneficiary satisfaction teams, with the aim of providing any assistance to patients or providing any support.
