60 martyrs from one family in Gaza in two massacres committed by the occupation within a month

 

 The Al-Tatabibi family in Gaza is in mourning for the second time in less than a month, after Israeli raids on the buildings that housed them led to the death of more than 60 of its members.

The last raid was launched in the early hours of yesterday morning, Friday, on the crowded Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City, resulting in the death of at least 25 members of the Tabatibi family, according to What a relative said. On a narrow street, the six-storey building where the Tabatibi family was sheltering was still standing on Friday morning, but now all that remained were sagging balconies and a charred ground floor piled with rubble. Khaled Al-Tabatibi, a surviving family member, told AFP, “We were sleeping… We did not hear any missile or anything.” He added, “We went down and found my sisters, their sons and daughters, all of them martyred, all of them in pieces… We do not know why they targeted the house, it was a massacre.” For his part, the family’s neighbor, Ziad Dardas, whose brother was injured in the raid, told Agence France-Presse, “We only saw a missile explode and our neighbors caught fire.” The martyrs and wounded were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, most of which was destroyed by the Israeli occupation forces during its siege and recent storming.

Muhammad Al-Tatabibi said at the time in “Al-Aqsa Martyrs” Hospital: In nearby Deir al-Balah, before transporting the bodies of his relatives for burial, “This is my mother, this is my father, this is my aunt, and these are my brothers… They bombed the house while we were in it. My mother and aunt were preparing the suhoor food… They were all martyred. I don’t know why they bombed the house and committed a massacre.”

 

 

Medical sources announced, Today, Saturday, the death toll in the Gaza Strip rose to 33,686, the majority of whom were children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on the seventh of last October.

 

The same sources added that the death toll Casualties have risen to 76,309 since the start of the aggression, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
