What happens to Magloire, the former “Morning Live” columnist?

Magloire enjoyed dazzling success in the 2000s, notably thanks to the show “Morning Live” on M6. But what has become of him today?

Is Magloire still on television?

After years without news from him, Magloire was talked about again on a few occasions such as when he briefly participated in the show The Great Darka by Cyril Hanouna on C8, in 2019. But, above all, since 2023 he has been the host of a new show: Resemblance. He holds the reins of this documentary series broadcast on TV5 Monde and of which season 2 has been renewed for 2024 (it started last March). Every week, a 26-minute episode broadcast on the channel and on the free global platform TV5MONDEplus, retraces “journeys which have led women and men to France through trials, doubts but also moments of joy.”

“I am lucky to have grown up with a Catholic mother, part of whose family was Jewish. She introduced me to pagodas, mosques… to reach out to other cultures. If I do this show, which was cut out for me, is because I have this incredible open-mindedness, instilled since I was little”, he has just confided in the pages of the magazine 7 Days TV. Will a third season see the light of day with Magloire? Yes, if we believe his words, “it’s on track”, he told the magazine.

What are Magloire’s plans?

When he is not hosting the show ResemblanceMagloire plays the character of fakir Magik in Fort Boyard and this since 2019. “facetious genius character” which it will continue to hold this summer. But that’s not all. Magloire is currently alone on stage with Prayer to love. “It’s not a one-man show, nor a musical… it’s an unidentified theatrical object, which has no other purpose than to say ‘I love you'”he detailed in 7 Days TV. At the same time, Magloire personally fights against his morbid obesity, which occurred after the death of his mother. “I lost 27 kilos.
