15.4 billion dirhams, gains in local stocks at the beginning of the week

Abu Dhabi, April 15 / WAM / Local stock markets consolidated their gains at the end of today’s trading, with a market capitalization gain of approximately 15.4 billion dirhams, amid strong liquidity of approximately 1.9 billion dirhams.

The market capitalization of listed stocks rose from 3.565 trillion dirhams in the previous session, to 3.581 trillion dirhams at the end of today’s session, distributed by 2.853 trillion dirhams for stocks listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, and 727.5 billion dirhams for stocks listed on the Dubai Financial Market.

The market gains achieved today were distributed at 11.9 billion dirhams for Abu Dhabi Securities Market shares, and 3.4 billion dirhams for Dubai Financial Market shares.

Local stocks attracted liquidity of about 1.894 billion dirhams, distributed by 1.265 billion dirhams in the Abu Dhabi market and 628.38 million dirhams in the Dubai market. About 559.1 million shares were traded through the implementation of more than 35.9 thousand transactions.

The FTSE Abu Dhabi General Market index closed up by 0.18%, with a gain of 16.5 points, at 9,253.74 points, and the “Fadex 15” index rose by about 0.28%, gaining about 26 points, to close at 9,142.74 points, while the general index of the Dubai Financial Market closed almost stable at 4,243.78 points.

“International Holding” shares topped the activity in the Abu Dhabi market, attracting liquidity of about 212.9 million dirhams and closed at 399.5 dirhams, followed by “Multiplay” shares, attracting about 144.9 million dirhams and closing at 144.9 million dirhams, an increase of 14.83%, then “Q Holding” shares with liquidity of 90.7 million dirhams. million dirhams and reached the level of 3.16 dirhams, an increase of 4.64%.

In the Dubai market, “Emaar Properties” stock led the activity, attracting about 224.6 million dirhams in liquidity and closing at 8.42 dirhams, followed by “Dubai Islamic” stock, attracting about 67.8 million dirhams and closing at 5.75 dirhams, then “Emirates NBD” stock with a total liquidity of 59.3 million dirhams.
