Zelensky: Ukraine will sign security agreements with the United States and countries in Northern Europe

   Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that his country is scheduled to sign bilateral security agreements with the United States, Norway, and Sweden in the coming months.

The Ukrainian Ukrinform agency quoted Zelensky as saying: “We are close to reaching an important agreement with the United States.” …He stressed that after the US Congress approved the aid package for Ukraine, “we will reach a strong agreement with the United States.”

Zelensky continued: “I would like people to understand that the matter is not only about military support, but rather about Also in the humanitarian aspects, reconstruction, financial support and energy.. The full volume of this powerful aid is part of those bilateral agreements.. The Ukrainian President stressed that the government will continue to sign security guarantees with partners.

At the same time, he pointed out That Ukraine is close to signing security agreements with the partner Baltic states, saying: “I believe that we will reach this agreement with one of the countries in April… and we can conclude strong agreements in May and June, not only with the United States, but also with the Nordic countries Sweden and Norway.” ;.

It is noteworthy that Zelensky agreed on January 8, 2024 to form a delegation to negotiate security guarantees for Ukraine.
