Al-Ahly Women beats Otoho and wins the African Cup Winners’ Cup bronze medal

The Al-Ahly Club women’s handball team won a bronze medal in the African Cup Winners’ Cup after defeating Congolese Otoho 23-20 in the third-place match in the tournament hosted by the Algerian city of Oran.

< p>Al-Ahly players gave a strong performance during both halves of the match, and the first half ended with the team leading 12-10, thanks to the strong defense in the circle and the quick blitz attack, in addition to adherence to the instructions of the technical staff.

The team continued its superiority in the second half, under the leadership of technical director Mohamed Adel, and the team ended the match in its favor with a score of 23-20.

The women’s handball team was included in the two super tournaments. It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly won the bronze medal in the African Super Cup for Handball.
