Arabian Travel Market 2024 highlights sustainability and technology

Dubai, May 6 / WAM / The Arabian Travel Market 2024 was unveiled today; Shedding light on the transformation of the hospitality sector, on the stage of the future, during the launch of the exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, in the presence of a group of the most prominent travel and tourism experts from all parts of the industry around the world.

During the opening session, which was titled “Trends Shaping the Future of Hospitality in the Middle East,” the experts discussed several issues, most notably sustainable travel, conscious travel, and low-impact travel, in addition to sustainable practices and the use of artificial intelligence and data to enhance the travel experience, as major implementable strategies to secure the future. For his part, Philip Barnes, CEO of Rotana, the leading global hotel management company, considered that the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai is an opportunity to showcase a set of ambitious strategies for the group and move towards new global markets, to expand the scope of work at the local and global levels, revealing during the exhibition the addition of 30 new facilities. The Market Insights Summit, which launched today on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market, explored the potential of China, India and Latin America as they emerge as major players in global tourism.
