In France there live 500,000 people of the Jewish faith. Anti-Semitic acts have increased by 1,000% since October 7, according to a Crif report. “Today we see that unfortunately all the actions that have been implemented until now have not made it possible to stem this phenomenon. There has been an explosion of anti-Semitic acts. Since the Second World War, we have not never seen such an outbreak. We have high hopes for this.continues Fabienne Bendayan-Chetrit.
According to her, “there is an urgent need for a collective start and for each citizen to tackle this difficulty today” And “everything that relates to teaching, education is an area where we must develop prevention, involve young people in journeys of memory. The idea is to also involve the youngest”she analyzes.
