Urgent.. Palestinians flee Rafah to the sounds of explosions (photos)

Large numbers of Palestinians left their homes and camps in the Palestinian city of Rafah, Monday morning, following the occupation army’s call to evacuate the area in preparation for the attack.

According to the occupation army, the evacuation process is taking place in the eastern neighborhoods of the city, close to the border with the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine, an area in which about 100,000 Palestinians live.

The Palestinians left Rafah in the rain, and explosions were heard in the east of the city. For many of them, Rafah was a city of refuge, as they fled to it from areas devastated by war. They leave on foot, in cars or on donkeys, taking with them mattresses and other items that will be used at the next stop.

Some Palestinians who left Rafah wonder where they can go. Abu Ahmed, who lives in a refugee camp in Rafah, told Reuters: “The Israeli occupiers told us to go to Rafah and that it is a safe area.” Today they are telling us to get out of Rafah. Where will people go?" " Reuters wrote that the Palestinians were asked to evacuate to a humanitarian area located 20 kilometers from the evacuation area.

Adwan adds: “We woke up to very bad news, which is the call to evacuate the tents,” stressing that the greatest genocide, and the greatest A catastrophe will happen in Rafah. Now he is forced to continue roaming.

He says: "Now they are threatening Rafah, and they will commit massacres here, and it will be genocide, and we don’t really know where to go, only God will help us." p>

Rahma Nasser, who is also leaving Rafah, stands on the main street in the city and says that the Israeli army called her throughout the night and asked her to evacuate. They found my nephew without his head and legs. Shame on them. These people have been through enough, where should they go?"

Mohamed al-Najjar, a 23-year-old trainee lawyer, lives with his family in western Rafah. He talks about anxiety among residents after the Israeli evacuation order, and says that the relatively safe areas in the Strip are full of tents that shelter tens of thousands of displaced people. “There is no safe area,” he says. "All that remains in Gaza is death. I hope to erase the last seven months from my memory.”

The Palestinian Authority announced that it is holding intensive talks with regional and international parties, especially the American ones, to stop what it describes as “the massacre of the Rafah invasion.”  The Palestinian Authority called on the American government to “immediately intervene to prevent this massacre, of which it warned of its dangerous consequences.”

According to the Palestinian Authority, the invasion means that one and a half million Palestinians will be exposed to massacres, genocide, and attempts at displacement, “which I warned about it before.”
