The Egyptian Paralympic Committee, headed by Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, nominated Mr. Mohamed Yahya Mohamed Youssef, a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, for membership in the Swimming Committee of the International Paralympic Committee, which will later become the International Paralympic Swimming Federation.
After closing the nomination window, Mohamed Yahya became the only Egyptian, Arab and African candidate for the membership position.
