The launch of the AIM Investment Summit 2024 in Abu Dhabi with wide international participation
ABU DHABI, 7 MAY / WAM / The activities of the thirteenth session of the “AIM Investment Summit” were launched today in Abu Dhabi, under the slogan “Adapting to the Transformation of the Investment Landscape: Harnessing New Potentials to Develop Economic Development Globally,” and will continue until May 9 with wide international participation. .
The summit, which is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, witnesses the participation of more than 100 ministers, city mayors, bank and central bank governors, 900 speakers, 11 global financial markets, 50 unicorn companies, 300 exhibitors and more than 12,000 participants from 175 countries. , in 27 joint events organized in cooperation with more than 330 local, regional and international partners.
The summit, in its current session, which is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, provides many opportunities for investors, businessmen and investment companies from around the world to communicate and learn about specialized investment projects in various fields through 450 dialogue sessions and 7 high-level round table meetings.
Participations in the AIM Investment Summit confirm the UAE’s leading position on the global investment map and the ease of doing business there, as a preferred investment destination for international investments looking for opportunities for sustainable growth, expansion and prosperity, in addition to being one of the largest investing countries around the world.
The summit includes many events, forums, dialogue sessions and workshops within various main axes, most notably the axis of investment, innovation, technology, emerging companies and unicorns, the axis of small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurship, regional dialogue forums across continents and the future of finance, which provides a comprehensive platform to explore the future of global investment by reviewing the latest Trends and innovations across various fields.
The summit activities will witness the organization of 27 side events in cooperation with a number of international bodies and organizations. A number of new forums and events will also be organized, most notably the “Coordination Meeting of the Investment Promotion Agencies of the G20 Countries – WAIPA G20 IPAs,” which serves as an important platform for the investment promotion agencies of the G20 countries.
