The value of the eighth batch amounts to 69 million pounds for the Olympic sports federations, thus adding to the total value of public spending from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which includes hosting More than 422 continental and international sports championships, in addition to spending on more than 1,200 sports delegations to participate in various continental, regional and global competitions, including the qualifying tournaments for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, in support of our champion Olympic and Paralympic athletes prior to their participation.
For his part, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, confirmed that the Ministry has developed a comprehensive and integrated system to support champions through parallel paths represented in technical and administrative financial support Direct support to the federations, as well as the initiative for private sponsorships through direct support to the champions through major national economic and banking companies and institutions, and the path of hosting tournaments, which allows regular contact for our champions with world champions, as well as the development work for the sports infrastructure, which has provided the champions with stadiums and halls with international and Olympic specifications, in addition to the care it provides. The Ministry is coordinating with various state institutions to facilitate their procedures for health and educational care, scholarships, travel requirements abroad, etc.
Noting that all of these paths were behind the achievements that were achieved during the recent period, whether at the level of tournaments that are held in Egypt and that there is strong friction. For our heroes, or at the level of championships that our heroes achieve externally.

He added that the Ministry is keen to support all sports federations to be able to Implementing its plans, programs and activities, which have resulted in the qualification of 140 male and female players so far, and achieving many distinguished results for champion athletes in various games and topping the world rankings in weapons, pentathlon, shooting, weightlifting, wrestling and taekwondo.
The Minister of Youth and Sports indicated full coordination with The Egyptian Olympic Committee and sports federations are in preparation and qualification programs for the Paris Olympics, to achieve the best results during the upcoming Olympic participations.
