Tayseer Matar: Takaful and Dignity Program achieved a qualitative shift in the social protection system

& nbsp; On the occasion of the 10 -year anniversary of the launch of the program & quot, Takaful and Dignity & quot, it is a celebration of our ability to overcome difficulties and achieve more protectionist programs to enhance the economic situation of millions of Egyptian families, especially in light of the Egyptian state from more than 22 social protection programs, and with huge financial allocations up to 635 billion pounds annually, indicating that the Takaful and Dignity Program only, which is one of the most prominent protection programs serves About 2.5 million families, and achieves a direct benefit to about 21 million citizens across the Republic, confirming that solidarity and dignity have become a basic pillar in building the new Republic. & Nbsp;
& nbsp; For the most needy groups, their support in facing the burdens of life and their ability to meet their needs, especially in light of the economic challenges, noting that the state has gone side by side in implementing the economic reform program with a fair social reform, to ensure the implementation of protection for the most needy groups, the promotion of justice, and the preservation of the dignity of the Egyptian citizen. That although the Takaful and Dignity Program started with about 2 million beneficiaries, with funding not exceeding 5 billion pounds, the financial allocations for the program amounted to the fiscal year 2024/2025 to about 41 billion pounds, and there is a tendency to increase in more than 55 billion pounds in the next fiscal year, which confirms the continuation of the necessary support for those owed categories, especially women who occupy a prominent and pivotal place in this program, Especially since it represents the vast majority of carriers of cards & quot, takaful and dignity & quot; With a rate of up to 75%.
