Bettina Trump embraces role as stepmom as she cozies up to Don Jr’s kids at World Cup final amid baby whispers

Bettina Trump appears to have embraced her new role as stepmom as she attended the 2026 World Cup final alongside her husband, Donald Trump Jr, and two of his children.

Bettina, 39, took to her Instagram Stories to post a smiling selfie of her and Don Jr’s daughter Chloe, 12, and son Spencer, 13, as they all sat in the stands at MetLife Stadium together during the match.

Bettina was seated next to her husband, while the two kids were beside their dad. 

Don Jr shares five children with his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump. In addition to Chloe and Spencer, he is the father to daughter Kai, 19, and sons Donald III, 17, and Tristan, 14. 

Bettina, who wed Don Jr back in May, donned a sheer, white, ruffled pantsuit designed by Schiaparelli for the outing.

The chic jacket featured gold button detailing at the waist and sleeves and she paired the look with oversized, aviator-style sunglasses.

For his part, Don Jr donned a white button-down, gray trousers and a dark sports jacket. 

The Argentina vs Spain match was certainly a family affair, as Bettina and Don Jr were also joined by her sisters-in-law Ivanka Trump, Lara Trump and Tiffany Trump, as well as all of their respective partners, Jared Kushner, Eric Trump and Michael Boulos.

President Donald Trump, his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, and their son, Barron Trump, were also spotted at the soccer game in a separate box alongside FIFA boss Gianni Infantino, Canada’s prime minister Mark Carney and Mexico’s president Claudia Sheinbaum. 

The family appearance comes amidst whispers about Bettina and Don Jr’s plans to expand their brood.

Multiple sources revealed to the Daily Mail in late May that the newlyweds can’t wait to start a family together.

A close pal of the Florida-based couple told the Daily Mail at the time: ‘Both of them have told friends that they plan on having kids together.

‘I’ve never seen Don so happy on a personal level. It’s pretty clear to those of us who know him well, that Bettina is a perfect match for him.

‘They both have very laid-back and easy-going personalities that click really well. You can tell that they genuinely love being around each other.’

Another friend added: ‘Bettina wants to start her own family, no question about it. She’s really looking forward to that prospect.’

In May, the couple legally tied the knot in a Palm Beach ceremony and followed it up with a sun–soaked event limited to their closest friends and family members.

More than 40 of their loved ones attended their luxurious Little Pipe Cay celebration, which included top-secret preparations and planning to keep the event as private as possible on the isolated paradise island.

It is not known how much the event cost, but renting the main 11–bedroom house on 38–acre Little Pipe Cay is a jaw-dropping $750,000-a-week in high season. 

Guests at their wedding included Bettina’s 76-year-old mother Inger, Don Jr’s brother Eric and his wife Lara, plus Don’s daughter Kai.

Shortly after they got married, Bettina took to her Instagram Stories to share a look at their wedding bands along with a gushing message to Don Jr.

She posted a black-and-white shot of their hands, with their understated silver rings on full display.

‘Forever yours, forever mine,’ she wrote with a white heart.

She followed it up with a message that said: ‘The whole point is to marry your best friend.’

On Father’s Day in June, Bettina hinted that she and Don Jr may be thinking of starting a family together.

In a touching tribute, she gushed over his ‘love for his kids’ and branded him as the ‘most incredible dad,’ before stating that she ‘couldn’t wait to add to their beautiful family.’
