Disney Channel star Carla Jeffery dies at 33 after breaking out in Zombies franchise

Carla Jeffery, who starred in multiple installments of the popular Zombies franchise on the Disney Channel, has died.
‘It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at just 33 years old,’ began a sorrowful statement from Alexanders Talent Management on Instagram.
The agency, which said it began representing Jeffery when she was just 12 years old, added: ‘For more than 20 years, we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room.’
The statement did not disclose Jeffery’s cause of death.
Alexanders Talent Management highlighted Jeffery’s role as Bree in Disney’s Zombies franchise, through which she ‘shared her joy, humor and bright spirit with audiences around the world.’
‘Carla was more than a client,’ the statement continued. ‘She was family.’
