Joe Rogan launches most vicious attack on Trump yet and says he fears president could plunge US into crisis as bad as COVID

Joe Rogan has decried Donald Trump yet again – this time over the president’s decision to wage war on Iran.
The podcaster’s guest, right-wing UK politician Rupert Lowe, paved the way for the Wednesday rant. He had just complimented the US for staging ‘some form’ of post-pandemic comeback.
Rogan, 58, promptly claimed Trump ‘might’ve f*cked it up’ with Operation Epic Fury.
The pair had been speaking about pandemic-era restrictions and how they paved the way for political corruption.
Rogan said the US government lied about the COVID vaccines’ purported drawbacks.
‘They’re not going to admit they’re never going to admit it. They just gloss over it and move on,’ Rogan said.
He said the ‘lies’ were designed to line people’s pockets – particularly, big pharma. Major networks then peddled the propaganda, Rogan said – rattling off a list of what was presented as side effects to the jab.
‘There’s no stories on heart attacks, there’s no stories on strokes. No stories on myocarditis.’

The podcaster argued the move hindered the country’s post-pandemic recovery and ability to rebound from politicians’ corruption
Rogan then claimed COVID vaccines carry the risk of sudden death. That, too, was subject to a clandestine cover-up, he claimed.
Lowe eventually brought up the UK’s Behavioral Insights Team (BIT), often referred to as the ‘Nudge Unit’. The team advised residents of proper behavior and policy during the pandemic.
Lowe claimed the unit was designed ‘to nudge people into accepting the lockdown.’
‘And it was effectively very clever,’ he said.
‘They did. Yeah, they did. And they did it in America, depending on which city you were in to various extents,’ Rogan replied.
He called the situation in California back then particularly ‘bad,’ and the Golden State itself ‘an amazing place… filled with dumbasses.’
‘I mean, they- they closed down all the comedy clubs. They closed- they lost 70 percent of all the restaurants in Los Angeles. I mean, it’s crazy.’
The conversation then segued to Democratic socialists. Rogan described such politicians as ‘grifters pretending to be socialists.’
‘And the way you know this is how wealthy those f**kin’ people are. And how it doesn’t make sense how they’re so wealthy.’

Rogan pointed to a New York Post about Governor Gavin Newsom’s then-chief of staff, Dana Williamson, who was investigated by both the Biden and Trump administration for federal fraud and tax evasion. She pleaded guilty in May.
‘Crime. They’re doing crime,’ Rogan proclaimed. ‘It’s a lot of people that are profiting off of this idea that, you know, the government should be taking care of everybody, and you should be making all this money from taxes.
‘And then, you know, California spent $24billion on the homeless, and it just got worse.’
He suggested such failures were purposeful, because ‘taking care of the homeless is now an industry.’
‘And there’s people on the homeless industry board that are making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. And it’s like what are we doing?’ he said.
Lowe pointed out how similar corruption has been found in nonprofits created to peddle initiatives like DEI.
‘How many people from these nonprofits are getting enormously wealthy? Like, this is insane,’ said Rogan. ‘Of course, if there was ever a Democrat that got elected president in 2028, it would probably start that b*tch right back up.
‘Open the borders right back up. Business as usual.’
He theorized that there ‘was a desire to move people into blue states and then eventually get them on social assistance’ to secure voters for the Democratic Party.
‘I think they were trying to do that. This is Elon’s perspective and I think he’s right,’ Rogan said.
‘At least [the US is] making a stab at returning to some form of normality for now,’ replied Lowe.
‘For now, if we don’t f*ck it up,’ Rogan said, before bashing Trump for the strikes seen since February 28.
‘This war is not something anybody that’s conservative wanted. Most people don’t want it – except supporters of Israel. They’re the only people that seem to be thinking it’s a good idea in this country.
‘Most people are horrified by the idea, because Trump was elected [and] one of the pillars that he stood for, apparently, was that he doesn’t want any more wars.’ Rogan raged.
Rogan recently parted with the president over his approach to immigration and foreign policy, after offering him a last-minute endorsement – and air-time – on his popular podcast back in late 2024.
Trump’s use of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the US military have surfaced as sticking points.
In March of last year, Rogan reacted with rage to reports of innocent people being mistakenly rounded up and thrown into maximum security prisons in El Salvador.

In January, as Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota escalated, Rogan compared ICE agents’ tactics to those of ‘the Gestapo’.
The month before, Rogan told comedian Shane Gillis any type of war ‘would be a terrible idea’. The conversation occurred just before the US’s invasion of Venezuela.
The US began its strikes on Iran a few weeks later. Rogan quickly called Trump’s military aspirations in the region ‘insane’.
He has also repeatedly maintained that Trump supporters should ‘feel betrayed’ by the ongoing conflict. Rogan is a self-professed libertarian whom many see as a centrist.
Trump, earlier this week during a NATO summit in Turkey, asserted that a tentative ceasefire with the Iranian regime was ‘over’. The war is now in its fifth month.
