Kyle Sandilands berates female producers and mocks their looks during wild 15-minute tirade live on air in scenes very similar to his blow-up with Jackie ‘O’ Henderson

Kyle Sandilands has gone on a lengthy tirade after a technical issue hampered Monday’s episode of his new radio show. 

The subscription-only series, Kyle Sandilands Live, was held up when staff were unable to make a video play on Kyle’s system. 

The 55-year-old was enraged by the error, and subjected his staff to an inquisition that lasted close to 15 minutes, during which he berated their looks and questioned  their professionalism. 

Most of Kyle’s fury was directed at his executive producer, Jaimee Blazquez, nicknamed Mayo. 

Having previously worked on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Mayo is accustomed to Kyle’s antics, but appeared flustered and frustrated as he demanded she name the staff member responsible for the mistake. 

Kyle began his rant by slamming Mayo as a ‘wishy-washy who has no idea what is going on’. 

Mayo attempted to soothe Kyle and took responsibility for the mishap, but he was unsatisfied until she threw another staffer under the bus, whose name he relentlessly demanded. 

‘I promise I won’t stall again…’ Mayo began, but Kyle interrupted, ‘It’s not stall. It’s lie! It’s lie. It’s lie. I said I take accountability. I said it several times and you wouldn’t say.’

‘Because it’s on me at the end of the day…’ Mayo continued to apologise. 

‘But I’m not asking whether it’s on you. I’m your boss, so I expect you to be honest with me and every f**king question I ask you. Every question! 

‘It’s not throwing someone under the bus, it’s answering your superior’s question. That’s all.’

‘I’m sorry, I won’t do it again,’ Mayo pleaded.

‘All I asked for, just once in my life, is for someone to back me up. Is that asking too much?’ Kyle asked.

In the middle of the clash, another young female staffer, news reader Mary Madigan, attempted to step in and stand up for Mayo. 

‘I don’t give a f**k what you think,’ Kyle snapped at her, going on to call Mary a ‘kind’ and ‘smart’ woman, but knocked her ‘shocking fringe’. 

Kyle also had a go at Mayo’s looks, complimenting her white teeth but mocking her moles. 

‘You’ve got a mole on your head… some dirty moles everywhere. Just cut it out,’ Kyle demanded. 

Mayo was visibly angry and upset throughout the protracted exchange, with Kyle noting her ‘demented look’ as the argument continued. 

‘I am just processing,’ she said, defending herself, but admitted that she was unable to hide her displeasure over the incident.  

The staff managed to calm Kyle down and get the video working, but not before he complained repeatedly that the disorganisation on set was similar to what he had experienced at KIIS FM.  

The clash, in particular Kyle calling his female staffer ‘wishy-washy’, echoed his on-air blow-up with former Kyle and Jackie O Show co-star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson before the headline-grabbing cancellation of their breakfast show in March. 

The exchange occurred on February 20, when Sandilands slammed Henderson for her ‘fixation’ with astrology and said it was affecting her work, sending her out of the studio in tears.

‘Your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable. You are off with the fairies with this s**t. It’s mental,’ Sandilands said. 

‘It’s too much. It’s affecting everything else. You’re too fixated on it. Every segment, every time you’ve spoken, you don’t even know what’s going on.’ 

That argument led to the cancellation of both Sandilands and Henderson’s $100 million contracts. 

Sandilands has since settled a wrongful termination court battle with his former employer for $12.09 million. 

Henderson’s own lawsuit, in which she is seeking $82.25 million, is ongoing in Federal Court.
