Lewis Hamilton starts on pole as Kimi Antonelli looks to seal drivers’ championship; live race updates and results

Lights out and away we go.

Lewis Hamilton gets a strong start and holds his place going into the first turn. George Russell rapidly drops places – it looks like the Mercedes driver had a shaky start.

Suddenly Charles Leclerc makes his move, cutting the corner and snatching the race lead. I’m assuming that incident will be under investigation, since Leclerc technically left the track to make that move.

He will likely need to give the place back.

Kimi Antonelli remains fourth and Aussie Oscar Piastri up to ninth. Poor Hadjar looks like he’s spun,.
