
A man has been arrested after stabbing a teacher and a student at a school in southern France, police have said.
The suspect is understood to be a former student at the horticultural school in Antibes, near Cannes. Officers did not give any further details on his identity or motives.
“The attacker has been arrested, he is no longer a threat,” a police spokesperson said.
Two people were left injured. The exact details of their condition is not yet known.
Police were called to the school in the town of Antibes, south east France, on Wednesday. The town lies between Cannes and Nice and is known for its old town, 16th century fortifications, and luxury harbour.
