Olivia Rodrigo Was Spotted With Her New Finance Bro Boyfriend Julian Croonenberghs, Here’s What We Know About Him

Olivia Rodrigo appears to have found herself a boyfriend without a fake job (or a different genre of fake job depending on who you ask) aka a finance bro. The current rumour on the streets is that a man named Julian Croonenberghs, who is a private equity associate, has captured Olivia’s heart.

Here’s what we actually know: Croonenberghs is 26, works at the company Hg as a private equity associate and previously worked as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs, according to his LinkedIn.

He studied at Brown University where he pursued applied mathematics and computer science and he also played for the US men’s national field hockey team from 2018 to 2020. It’s giving me vague Andie Anderson and Benjamin Barry vibes with the corporate and creative combo, or if I’m feeling cynical Big and Carrie energy, but let’s not do that to my diva Olivia.

The relationship speculation picked up after the pair were spotted multiple times in New York City. They were then looked very coupley as f*ck during a Brooklyn park date this week, where they were photographed holding hands, cuddling, and kissing each other’s hands.

Before that they were also spotted together at an Iceland airport in a fan photo shared online which of course sent the internet into a full forensic spiral.

The “honeybee” singer dated actor Louis Partridge started dating in October 2023, till the pair reportedly broke up in December 2025 and thought it was “better to be apart for now”, according to The Sun.

In a Pitchfork interview, she said she started writing her most recent album expecting it to be “a 100 percent love album” before adding, “And obviously it didn’t end up that way — you can read between the lines on that one”. Look, I too am deeply afraid of what a finance bro might put our Livie through BUT I can’t help but think that releasing an album about your ex, having said ex go on a press tour (Enola Holmes 3) where his co-host (Millie Bobby Brown) stood on his neck the whole time (see video below), go on vacation and then stepping out with a boyfriend is incredibly c*nt and I can’t wait for the album to come out of this era.
