Revealed: The ‘true crime junkie’ arrested at Lindsay Clancy trial for jury intimidation as prosecutors reveal the deleted videos they found on her phone
The woman arrested for intimidation outside the Lindsay Clancy courthouse claimed she was trying to film the killer mom as she left.
Dawn Light, 56, of Sutton, was taken into custody outside Plymouth District Court at 3.40pm on Tuesday and charged with intimidation of a witness, jurors or person furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings, according to Massachusetts State Police.
She has now appeared in that same courthouse for her own arraignment hearing on Wednesday as the jury continues to deliberate Clancy’s fate.
At her arraignment hearing, Light was formally charged with aggravated intimidation, and ordered to stay away from the courthouse, the jury and any witnesses, as well as instructed to not share any photos or videos related to the incident.
The prosecution asked for a $50,000 cash bail and told the judge that ‘court officers were able to confirm she was filming the jurors.’
Light, who described herself as a ‘true crime junkie,’ has insisted she was not trying to intimidate anyone, but only wanted to film Clancy as she left the courthouse.
‘That’s the long and the short of it. I don’t know how I intimidated anyone,’ Light told CT Insider.
