Savannah Chrisley is married! Reality TV star, 29, secretly wed convicted fraudster fiance three months before surprise pregnancy reveal

Savannah Chrisley and convicted fraudster fiancé Jason Galanis got married this past July 14, more than three months before the couple emerged to reveal they’re expecting a child.

The marital union was confirmed by People Thursday, citing marriage records. Savannah, 29, and Galanis, 56, exchanged vows at Cayman Islands Baptist Church following a year-long courtship, according to the publication.

They had gotten engaged last December in the Cayman Islands, Savannah said on her podcast Tuesday.

Galanis presented the reality star with an oval-cut diamond ring he created with the St. Louis-based jewelry store Genovese Jewelers, according to the outlet.

Savannah revealed Tuesday that she was expecting her first child with her partner, whom she initially referred to only as ‘J.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Savannah Chrisley and Genovese Jewelers for further comment.

He was subsequently identified by US Weekly as Jason Galanis, who federal authorities said had previously been sentenced to more than 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to participating in multiple fraudulent schemes.

Galanis had been sentenced in September 2020 after he pleaded guilty earlier that year to orchestrating two financial fraud operations, one of which targeted a Native American tribe and investors for millions, federal authorities said.

Shortly after the identity of Galanis was revealed on Tuesday, she deflected from the revelation by sharing a short clip of her sonogram on Instagram and declared that her baby is ‘innocent.’

As part of Galanis’s sentence, he was ordered to forfeit more than $80 million and properties he owned in Los Angeles and New York, as well as to pay more than $80 million in restitution.

Galanis had previously been a business associate of Hunter Biden, and in March of 2024, he provided testimony to a Republican impeachment probe against ex-President Joe Biden while still in custody.

Savannah’s father Todd Chrisley opened up about his thoughts on the relationship Thursday appearing on the podcast Dumb Blonde.

‘He’s 20 years older, and it was not something I embraced because, I mean, to the point that I had a choice to make,’ Todd said. ‘It was either embrace my daughter’s decision or lose my daughter, and nothing is ever coming between me and my daughter.

‘I love Savannah with my heart and soul, but did I advocate for this? No, but I will tell you that he has treated her with the utmost respect.’

In March 2025, President Donald Trump commuted Galanis’s sentence, months before he issued pardons for Todd and Julie Chrisley on their 2022 bank fraud and tax evasion convictions.

At the time, prosecutors said Todd and Julie had taken out millions in bank loans under fraudulent circumstances.

The Chrisleys were also accused of hiding income to avoid paying taxes on it.

In May of last year, Trump said that the Chrisleys had been ‘given a pretty harsh treatment based on’ what he had heard.

Savannah, who endorsed Trump in a 2024 speech at the Republican National Convention, said Trump officials had ‘seen the corruption’ at play in her parents’ case.

‘I didn’t have to do anything other than stand firm in my beliefs and my convictions and fight for my parents,’ she said at the time.

Savannah spoke about her romance with Galanis and addressed their 27-year age gap on her podcast Unlocked.

She explained: ‘I have always said, “I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years.”

‘It’s just such an amazing, fulfilling feeling to finally find your person. And I’m there. So yes, the age difference. So what?’ she said.

Chrisley declared that Galanis is her ‘best friend,’ and she said they share a mutual ‘love and respect’ and ‘do everything together.’

The Chrisley Knows Best star also spoke about their goals as a couple as they prepared to become parents.

‘We have so many dreams … together, we work together … we want to have life experiences with each other,’ Savannah said. ‘And I think that’s when you know you have the right person, when you don’t feel like you have to escape them at times.’

Savannah said on her podcast that she and Galanis have enjoyed a ‘dream relationship’ since they began dating in July of 2025.

‘Our relationship as a whole has been absolutely amazing,’ she said. ‘It has been the dream relationship that any woman could hope to be in. There hasn’t been drama and chaos and dysfunction. There has been absolutely none of that.’
