More than 800,000 people have died in the United States from COVID-19

According to data from Johns Hopkins University, 800,266 people have died from the effects of the Corona virus since the beginning of the epidemic in the United States.

Since December, more than 100,000 cases of infection have been recorded in the United States each day, the highest number in the past two months. The increase in infection began to be recorded after the country’s Thanksgiving festivities, when millions of Americans went to visit their relatives and friends.
Over the past 28 days, 33,414 patients have died from the coronavirus in the United States.

In total, according to the university, 271.3 million cases of coronavirus were recorded in the world, and 5.3 million people died from the consequences of the disease worldwide.
