Unexpected treatment to lower high blood pressure

Shibaura Clinic Director Hiroshige Itakura told Yahoo News about coffee’s ability to lower blood pressure.

This drink contains chlorogenic acid – which gives it its characteristic bitterness and color – which has a beneficial effect on the intestines (antibacterial effect), prevents the deterioration of liver function, inhibits the development of myopia and presbyopia, stabilizes blood pressure and prevents the development of atherosclerosis.

One of the types of polyphenols in the composition of chlorogenic acid has an antioxidant effect, due to the mentioned positive effect on the body.

In addition, the acid promotes fat burning and prevents inflammation in the body, reduces the amount of plaque on the walls of blood vessels, and maintains the elasticity of endothelial cells.

The amount of polyphenols in coffee is twice the amount in green and black tea, and three times in tomato juice.
It is therefore recommended to drink three to four cups of the drink per day at regular intervals, because these substances only act for a few hours.

To enhance the effect, Itakura suggested adding 1 teaspoon of vinegar or thin slices of lemon to the coffee.

You can also use lemon juice, as lemon contains eriocitrin and narotene, which prevent the development of obesity and help prevent colds.
