Germany announces sending troops to Lithuania…

The German Defense Ministry said: “We are increasing our support for NATO’s eastern flank. We have just informed the Bundestag that up to 350 additional soldiers could be deployed in the combat group in Lithuania. German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht has agreed on this with partners in the Baltic states.” .

Earlier, the Pentagon ordered several thousand other soldiers to be put on high alert in case a shipment might be sent to Europe. The United States will transfer about 2,000 soldiers to Poland and Germany, as well as redeploy part of its forces from Germany to Romania.

In addition, the Pentagon expects to conduct further troop transfers within Europe and has ordered several thousand additional troops to be on standby for deployment, in addition to the 8,500 soldiers who received similar orders last week.
