France opposes Ukraine joining NATO

French Republican presidential candidate Valerie Beckers has opposed Ukraine’s entry into NATO. She said this during a speech at an election rally in Paris, according to TASS.

“With Ukraine, we must be frank and tell her that the country’s admission to NATO is not on the agenda,” Peckers said, addressing an election rally in Paris.

She stated that if she wins the presidential election, she will offer to create a new organization for European security from the Atlantic Ocean to the Urals. According to her, in security matters, the European Union must take fate itself.

Pecres also spoke out against the federalism of Europe, which undermines the identity of European states.
