Hungary moves troops to Ukraine border

Hungarian Defense Minister. Tibor Benke, that Hungary will move troops to the eastern part of the country due to the situation around Ukraine, and that Hungary believes it is necessary to be prepared for the influx of refugees

According to him, if the situation in Ukraine escalated and the war was not only in the East, then it could extend to Transcarpathia. That is why, according to Benke, the Hungarian army must be prepared for the influx of refugees.

“The mission of the Hungarian armed forces is twofold: one is to provide assistance and help solve humanitarian problems, and the other is to close the borders and ensure that no armed group can enter Hungary,” Benke said.
