Germany moves the first armored vehicles to Ukraine

German Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Andrea Sasse said the first German armored vehicles were successfully transferred to Ukraine as part of a defense assistance package.

“A small note gives hope. I can report, for example, that the armored vehicles are ready for transport to Ukraine. Some of them were delivered to Ukraine this morning.”

German Chancellor Olaf Schultz also announced his intention to send 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 Stinger missiles to the Ukrainian authorities.

Germany sent five thousand helmets to the Ukrainian army. The German Defense Minister expressed his concern over the change of the system of the Russian deterrent forces.
