Russian attack ships carry out exercises in the Baltic Sea

Russian missile boats conducted exercises in the Baltic Sea, and carried out a Mosquite cruise missile strike on a detachment of imaginary enemy warships.

said the press service of the Baltic Fleet. “In the sea range of the Baltic Fleet, a naval strike group consisting of Chuvashia, Zarechny and Murshansk missile boats carried out electronic missile launches at targets simulating a detachment of warships of an imaginary enemy.”

They noted that the missile launches were carried out using Mosquite anti-ship missile systems.

“The crews of the missile boats developed the entire algorithm for performing a combat exercise, with the exception of the actual launch of cruise missiles of the complex. As a result of electronic launches, all identified targets were successfully hit,” said the fleet headquarters.
