Over 90 migrants killed in boat crash in Mediterranean
More than 90 migrants have died in the Mediterranean after a boat crash, said the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi.
The accident happened a few days ago. About 100 people left Libya on an overcrowded boat bound for Europe.
While crossing the Mediterranean, the boat crashed. The boat gave a distress signal. A merchant ship came to the rescue. She managed to save the survivors – four people.
Survivors said they were at sea for at least four days.
