UN signs a memorandum of cooperation with Russia on the supply of agricultural products and fertilizers

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, signed a memorandum of cooperation between Russia and the United Nations on the supply of Russian agricultural products to world markets.

“Russian Defense Minister Seri Shoigu met with the UN Secretary-General, during which Antonio Guterres signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the United Nations on facilitating the supply of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to world markets,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.

They emphasized that before signing the document, the UN Secretary-General noted Shoigu’s extensive experience in peacekeeping operations, including in the Caucasus region.
