Gold loses $5 in spot trades

Capitals, April 29 / WAM / Gold prices declined during today’s trading, losing about $5 in spot transactions.

By 09:22 AM UAE time, the yellow metal fell by 0.22 percent, or $5.02, to reach 2,333.19 per ounce.

Gold contracts for June 2024 delivery fell by 0.12 percent, or $2.95, to reach $2,344.2 per ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver rose by 0.16 percent to $27.57 per ounce, platinum rose by 0.43 percent to $928.5, while palladium fell by 0.02 percent to $961.28.
