Belarus withdraws its ambassador to UK

Belarus has decided to recall its ambassador to the United Kingdom amid several unfriendly moves by London. According to the representative of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anatoly Glaz.

According to him, the diplomatic presence will be fully restored when there are “responsible politicians” in the British government.

“In connection with a number of unfriendly steps taken by the United Kingdom, which are systematically aimed at causing maximum harm to Belarusian citizens and legal entities, a decision was taken to reduce the level of our country’s diplomatic mission in London …”.

As Glaz explained, recalling the ambassador does not mean closing channels of communication between Minsk and London.
