Minister of Endowments: We are witnessing an unprecedented renaissance in the architecture of the houses of God

The Minister of Endowments, Dr. Mohamed Mukhtar Gomaa, thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his interest in the architecture of mosques in general and the mosques of the Al-Bayt family in particular, stressing that Egypt is witnessing an unprecedented renaissance in the architecture of the houses of God Almighty, explaining that the total number of mosques that During the era of President Sisi, 11,887 mosques were created, replaced, renovated, or developed and maintained, at a cost estimated at about 18 billion pounds.

 

This came during a meeting of the Minister of Endowments with the leaders of the call in Giza Governorate today. Friday, on the occasion of the governorate’s National Day, in the presence of the Minister of Local Development, Hisham Amna, and the Governor of Giza, Ahmed Rashid.

Gomaa referred to the opening of the Sayyida Zeinab Mosque, “may God be pleased with her.” The day after the opening of the Imam Hussein Mosque “may God be pleased with him” And the Mosque of Mrs. Nafisa, may God be pleased with her. And the Mosque of Mrs. Fatima al-Nabawiyya, “may God be pleased with her.” And the Mosque of Sayyida Ruqayyah, “may God be pleased with her.” He stressed that it comes as a crown jewel for the development of these mosques, as Egypt is full of houses of God Almighty, and it will remain, God willing, an impregnable fortress for the religion of God.

The Minister of Endowments stressed that Interest in building the houses of God Almighty. In Egypt in terms of meaning, through the intensification of advocacy activities and Qur’anic reciters, there is no less interest in it in terms of construction, architecture and development.
