Abu Dhabi, April 22 / WAM / Salama Al-Awadhi, Director of the National Value Added Department at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, said that the second edition of the “Masnareen” exhibition for jobs in the ministry is witnessing a large turnout from national cadres looking for work in these vital fields.

Al-Awadhi added, in a statement to the Emirates News Agency on the sidelines of the launch of the second day of the exhibition, which will continue until tomorrow in Abu Dhabi, that the first day of the “Masnaneen” exhibition received about 1,500 citizens seeking work in various specializations, and about 2,300 job interviews were conducted with… More than 83 companies participated in the exhibition.

Al-Awadhi pointed out that the exhibition provides more than 800 jobs in various companies and specializations, including 150 jobs for people of determination, explaining that the jobs offered at the exhibition are for holders of a bachelor’s degree, diploma, and high school diploma from various emirates of the country.

Engineer Salem Bafraj, Vice President of In-Country Value and Industrial Development at ADNOC, stressed ADNOC’s commitment to supporting Emirati cadres in the private sector, by implementing and launching several initiatives to empower them in this sector, such as ADNOC’s program to enhance national content, which contributed to the appointment of more than 11,500 citizens in the sector. Private sector since 2018, explaining that 6,500 of them were citizens who were appointed last year, 2023.

Bafraj said: Through these initiatives, ADNOC seeks to redouble its efforts and further empower national cadres in the private sector, as these initiatives provide them with qualitative opportunities in the field of energy, industry and advanced technology.

In turn, Mohammed Al-Hakim, Director of the Partnerships Department at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, called on national cadres to participate in the “Masnaneen” exhibition and to come and apply for job vacancies offered by companies and to benefit from the opportunities included in the exhibition.

Ahmed Al-Amoudi, Director of the Communication and Business Development Department at ABB, the leading technology and electrical company in the region, pointed out that the company has offered about 12 job vacancies so far at the “Masnaneen” exhibition, expressing their aspiration to increase the number due to the great demand witnessed by the exhibition.

Al-Amoudi explained that the vacancies target specializations related to energy, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, as well as business administration specializations.

The exhibition, which began yesterday, will continue under the umbrella of the National Content Program and organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirati Competitiveness Council “NAFES”, and “ADNOC Group”, until April 23, and aims to enable Emirati competencies to work in the private sector.
