Ibrahima Ndiaye: Our goal is to beat Dreams in Ghana

Senegalese Ibrahima Ndiaye, player of the Zamalek club’s first football team, stressed that the players’ goal is to win and qualify against Ghana’s Dreams in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Confederation Championship scheduled for next Sunday at Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Ibrahima Ndiaye said in statements to the media on the sidelines of the African Union’s media activities that the first leg was not easy at all, and he stressed that his team wasted many opportunities in the first match. The player added, saying: “We will do our best to qualify for the final match, and we strive to win because the fans are waiting for us to return with a qualification card to the final, and we will not let them down.”

The Zamalek delegation arrived in Ghana yesterday evening, in preparation for the next Dreams match. In the Confederation Cup, the delegation is headed by Dr. Hossam Al-Mandouh, treasurer, and the team is accompanied by Captain Hussein Labib, club president, Ahmed Suleiman, board member, and Abdullah George, board advisor.

Zamalek’s list for the match includes Both:

Goalkeeper: Mohamed Awad – Moaz Alaa El-Din – Abdul Rahman Nafad. 

Defense line: Omar Jaber – Hamza Al Mathlouthi – Hossam Abdel Majeed  – Mustafa Al-Zanari – Yasser Hamad – Ahmed Fattouh.

Midfield: Nabil Emad Dunga – Mohamed Shehata – Ahmed Hamdy – Ziad Kamal – Travis Mutyaba – Ibrahima Ndiaye – Muhammad Atef – Sayed Abdullah "Neymar" – Mohab Yasser – Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala” – Mustafa Shalabi – Ahmed Mustafa “Zizou”.

Offensive line: Saif Al-Jaziri – Nacer Mansi – Samson Akinola.
