Putin handed over management of Ariston and Bosch subsidiaries in Russia to Gazprom

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the transfer of management of the Russian divisions of household appliance manufacturers Ariston and Bosch to Gazprom’s subsidiary, Gazprom Household Systems. The decree was published on the official portal of legal acts.

Both manufacturers announced their withdrawal from the Russian market and were looking for buyers for their Russian factories. Business media reported the sale talks but did not say whether the deals had been closed.

Ariston has a plant in Vsevolzhsk, Leningrad region. The transferred company in 2023 received revenue of 9.4 billion rubles, conveys “Interfax”.

Bosch has production in St. Petersburg. Transferred subsidiary as writes Kommersant has practically stopped working in Russia and in March began searching for a buyer for its headquarters in the Moscow suburb of Khimki.

As stated on the Gazprom Household Systems website, the company produces household appliances under the Flama, Darina, Tessa and Lada brands. We are talking mainly about stoves, hobs and ovens.
