Chopova Lowena turns ‘Shop’ova Lowena with debut store opening

It’s been almost 10 years since Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena launched their cult London label, Chopova Lowena. After a decade of building its reputation as one of the capital’s coolest brands, yesterday evening (August 27), it celebrated another major milestone, opening its first-ever owned and operated retail space.

You’ll find the Chopova Lowena Clubhouse in Bethnal Green, east London, with the brand’s latest mascot, Petal, on hand to welcome visitors. The furniture is designed in collaboration with David Pringle, accompanied by light fixtures from Saelia Aparicio and vases by Alake Shilling. Naturally, the store continues to explore Emma Chopova’s Bulgarian roots, including vintage tapestries and folktale characters within the design.

What’s more, not only do we have a new place to shop Chopova, but a whole new collection to splash out on too. To celebrate the store opening, the brand has launched a special Clubhouse capsule collection, introducing Petal to the world through T-shirts, camouflage bandanas, stickers and caps. See here.

Elsewhere in fashion this week, it’s been a big five days for us here at Dazed. We launched our Autumn 2026 issue, featuring North West, Ethel Cain, an exclusive look at GTAVI, and interviews with Rei Kawakubo and Matières Fécales. JW Anderson has launched its Twisted Denim campaign, starring actress Dree Hemingway, who was featured in the brand’s SS27 lookbook, alongside her partner Nick Delli Santi. The couple are pictured entangled in an embrace, matching the “twisted” theme of the new denim drop. See here

Amiri has unveiled its AW27 campaign, featuring one very special star: the brand-new Biscotto bag. While the bag doesn’t officially launch until September 3, it managed to sneak itself into the new campaign, which celebrates the spirit of Laurel Canyon and is soundtracked by The Hellp.

From David Bowie to Naomi Campbell, London’s Victoria & Albert Museum knows how to put on a pretty epic retrospective. As announced earlier this week, Freddie Mercury will be the next to join the long list of icons who have been the subject of one of the V&A’s major exhibitions. The show will run from October 2026 to January 2027.

Since Danish label Samsøe Samsøe announced Madeline Argy as its first-ever brand ambassador last year, the duo have become well acquainted. Now the model and TikTok star features in the brand’s latest campaign, photographed in New York by Justin Leveritt.

One moment she’s dowsing herself in liquid gold on stage at Lollapalooza, the next, she’s the face of Calvin Klein’s latest denim campaign. Tate McCrae is the latest celebrity to front a Calvin Klein campaign, following in the footsteps of FKA Twigs, Justin Bieber and Bad Bunny, to name a few. See here.
