Treating angina pectoris with ice cream

said otolaryngologist Vladimir Zaitsev, general practitioner and therapist Larisa Alekseeva. In the case of angina, ice cream helps relieve inflammation, but does not have a significant effect on the body.

According to Zaitsev, the treatment of angina with ice cream is possible in the absence of drugs, and they can alleviate the course of this disease and acute pharyngitis, but not in any patient.

He noted that at the next stage of angina – inflammation – it is already necessary to use antibacterial drugs.

Alekseeva agreed with Zaitsev, noting that cold reduces inflammation and reduces swelling. However, purulent tonsillitis cannot be cured with ice cream, and antibiotics will be required.

She added that ice cream can be eaten after surgery to remove adenoids in children.
